Economy Roofing was founded in Santa Monica in 1947 by the Haskins family and over half a century established a reputation of providing personalize service at a fair price. In 2018, the company was acquired by Jon Ramey, a close associate of the Haskins' brothers. Jon, a life-long roofing contractor from El Segundo, carries on the legacy the Haskins family started with the help of his brother and three of his children who have also chosen careers in roofing. As of 2024, Economy Roofing operates as a registered d.b.a. of Ramey Roofing, Inc.

ECONOMY ROOFING, I’m using them right this very moment. They’re a great roofing company honest clean and reliable and responsible. I’ve known them for over 45 years. I was a plaster repair man licensed 38 9477 Charles Scira. They used to refer me repair jobs After They did their part. I did mine water damage ceiling walls, old style 20 plastering new style drywall all different types of textures. So I know them very well. The company changed hands six years ago or so the new owner is a great guy.. I know many roofers I could’ve called but ECONOMY ROOFING is the one I called. I’ve been in a trades for a long time. If I were you, I would go with them if needing any kind of roofing sorry for the long referral Charlie no-show patch plastering ~ Charles S
5 stars to Economy roofing. They did an outstanding job on: taking up old concrete tiles; replacing old rotten and termite-eaten wood (much of this was in difficult to reach locations); getting city inspections; putting down the new underlayment; and laying down the concrete tiles beautifully. The project manager (Pedro) was outstanding. He was knowledgeable and very nice, and kept us informed on the progress of the project. All the workers were pleasant and respectful, and really good at their work. They showed up each morning at 8 am on-the-dot, and cleaned up after each day's work. We were very impressed and pleased. Of course, the real test comes when the rains begin, but we are confident there will not be any leaks. If there are any leaks, we know they are very responsible and would come quickly to fix any issues. Thank you Economy Roofing. ~ C D
I got 3 quotes, all companies with good reviews. One was extremely low, and missing details like extra layer removal and other things that would be added later at extra cost. James at Economy gave us the middle quote. It was very complete and detailed, it included needed work that the cheaper quote did not. The third quote was much higher and included work I knew we did not need. Economy got the job done in the expected time frame, they were good at cleaning up daily and knew what they were doing. All of the crew were hardworking, courteous and professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again on other properties. ~ Joe C
